“We truly appreciated the timing of this exhibition.  Artwork flowed to the Carnegie just like the migratory birds making their springtime return to Minnesota - a great proliferation of forms and colors, descending simultaneously,” noted the judges.  “We feel good about our choices, but would have liked to see another exhibition next door of those we did not accept.  Then all of you could have also compared, conjectured and selected.  Art is a vital force stirred by the collision of opinions.”  Prairie Lakes Arts Council is proud to sponsor such a successful exhibit that benefits artists throughout the nine counties.
This years’ show was videotaped by Imagine Studios, Waseca and can be viewed on our website www.plrac.org
Several schools took advantage of bus stipends provided by PLRAC to have students tour the exhibition.  The show is funded by grants from the McKnight and NorAm/Minnegasco Foundations.
