Nonprofit arts organizations, community groups or public organizations producing or sponsoring arts activities for their community area are eligible for a Small Arts project grant. This program is ideal for activities that may have a smaller budget, come up quickly as an opportunity and occur outside the main timeline for Sponsorship and Production project grants, which are offered only twice a year. Arts-In-Education (AIE) grants area available to public or private non parochial schools K-12 for artist residencies, live art performances or mini-workshops and arts related field trips. Matching grants up to $800 are available for both and AIE residency grants of up to $1,000 may be awarded. Money is allocated to each county and awarded on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline is the 1st of each month.
