CALL FOR ARTISTS: OPEN DOOR 21 AT ROSALUX GALLERY
Rosalux Gallery
Submissions are now open for Open Door 21, coming to Rosalux this December. Open Door is Rosalux Gallery’s annual open call exhibition. It is an exciting opportunity for artists outside of the collective to showcase their work in our gallery.
Deadline: October 31, 2026.
Open To: Open to all artists, artwork from the last 2 years only please.

ANDERSON CENTER 2027 ARTIST RESIDENCIES
The Anderson Center at Tower View
Anderson Center is a rare, rural oasis, a place that celebrates the imagination and supports the development of new arts and ideas through residencies. We will offer three programs in 2027 that are now accepting applicants including a 2027 Salzburg exchange residency, Early Career Artist Residency Program, and the signature Artist Residency Program. Deadline for the Salzburg exchange is November 13, 2026, and deadlines for the early career and general artist residencies are January 12, 2027.

Open To: Anderson Center uses the word “artist” broadly to mean those working in visual, literary, and performing arts, including those whose work doesn’t fit neatly into categories and genres.

Mankato Symphony Orchestra

FORECAST PUBLIC ART: EARLY AND MID-CAREER PROJECT AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT GRANTS
Forecast Public Art
$2,500-$10,000 grants for Minnesota artists seeking to expand or advance their careers in the field of public art, or for support the creation of a temporary or permanent public artwork anywhere in the state of Minnesota
Deadline: October 18, 2026
Open To: Early-career artists with 2-10 years of generative experience and mid-career artists who have been actively creating and exhibiting their work for at least ten years

TAPESTRIES 11.0 CHOREOGRAPHY RESIDENCY
Threads Dance Project
Tapestries Emerging Choreographers Program will commission three (3) emerging choreographers based in either Minnesota or NYC for Tapestries 11.0. They will be selected by an expert panel of dance/community leaders to create new works for the company’s spring season under the guidance of Artistic/Executive Director Karen L. Charles and additional feedback from their peer choreographers.

Minnesota State Arts Board
Artistic evaluators experience the arts firsthand by attending in-person events or viewing online activities presented by organizations seeking state funding. Stipend of $25 per evaluation, up to 10 evaluations.

NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR GIG FUND: INTERSTATE TOURING
Arts Midwest
This grant helps Midwestern nonprofits host professional artists for performances, exhibitions, and workshops that reach local audiences. Organizations can request $2,000-$10,000.
New this year: Projects supported by GIG Fund: Interstate Touring must feature an artist who lives outside of your state. Priority will also be given to rural applicants; we anticipate that 40% of this cycle’s grants will go to rural organizations.
Deadline: November 4, 2026 at 12:00pm CT
Open To: 501(c)3 orgs with budgets under $2mil, or tribal organizations with any budget.

CALL FOR APPLICANTS: SALES AND EXHIBITION GALLERIES AT LANESBORO ARTS
Lanesboro Arts
Lanesboro Arts is now accepting artist applications for both the Juried Sales Gallery in 2027; and Exhibition Gallery for 2028 Exhibitions. Both applications have a deadline of December 31st, 2026, and accept work from artists from Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. All visual arts media are eligible—both 2-D and 3-D.
